Photos from the Gathering

Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Gathering last week! Community groups will be decided upon this weekend, and should begin the following week. If you've indicated that you'd like to be a part of a community group, we'll be contacting you very soon. Also expect to see our Social Justice brochure posted in the next few days, with a list of organizations you can contact for service projects throughout our community. And as always, if you have any questions or would like more information on community groups or social justice, just send us an e-mail!

And remember: our next Gathering will be Wednesday, Nov. 28 from 7-8:30 PM, again in Hopewell 64. I hope to see you there!

The Gathering - Tuesday, October 23, 7-8:30 pm

We'll be having our first Gathering on Tuesday, October 23, from 7-8:30 pm, at Hopewell 64. This is our monthly fellowship and worship night, where we come together to look at the teachings of Jesus to try to make sense of the world we live in. The night's discussion will be about God's call for social justice, and what it means for us to care and provide for those in need.

We'll also have more information about community groups, which meet several times a month for fun, food, and fellowship, and about upcoming social justice projects that you can be a part of. If you already know that you'd like to be a part of a community group or social justice project (or both!), or if you'd just like more information, please e-mail us and we'll be happy to get you connected.

Finally, thanks to everyone who came out for the Monster Mash! It was a beautiful night for an outdoor movie, and everyone had a great time. Let us know if you'd like to see more of these movie nights in the future.
